This position involves setting up and operating various filling, bottle handling, and labeling equipment. The operator is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing machinery, tanks, lines, and support equipment (CIP) as needed. Key duties include receiving raw bulk products (O.J. concentrate, sugar, milk), bulk cleaning chemicals, packaging materials, and other ingredients. The role also involves pasteurizing and standardizing milk and drinks, and loading out bulk milk and cream. Operators must complete all required documentation, such as production numbers, weights, downtime, and chemical concentrations, and perform environmental and other housekeeping cleaning. Other duties may be assigned by supervision. Once trained, expectations on specific filler lines include achieving minimum outputs such as 9,000 8oz plastic, 3,000 gallons, 6,500 half gallons, 10,000 pints, 50 dispensers, 13,000 8oz or 4oz cartons, and 5,600 quarts per hour during a shift.
