About The Position

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Cedar City, Utah, is looking for Summer Temporary Associates with a proven track record to join our team. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry is a leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Investment in the latest tooling and machinery make it possible for us to meet increasing demand for our products and to provide the highest quality pipe and fittings in the industry. We offer a safe and productive work environment. We pay competitively based on performance and provide excellent benefits. The pay for this position is $18.00/hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least a rising Freshman in College
• Ability to work up to 12 hour day shifts
• Start work by May 19, 2025
• Work until August 4, 2025
• Work the entire program with no more than 1 week scheduled time off
• Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in keeping work areas up to 5S housekeeping standards
• Operating a sweeper
• Painting
• General grounds clean-up
• Clean-up of machines
• Assisting full-time associates with day-to-day tasks such as assemblies, barcoding, etc.
