About The Position
Are you a student looking for a temporary summer job at an organization Where Your Work Matters? Open Sky is now hiring summer temp staff to help support individuals with developmental, intellectual, physical, mental health and other challenges in a residential group home by promoting independence, safety, and quality of life. This role provides hands-on support, guidance, and assistance with daily living activities while encouraging community engagement and meaningful participation. Open Sky's Respite Programs are short-term group living environments that provide treatment of intermittent crisis and stabilization for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. The goal of the Respite program is to work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills to maintain their independence in the community and live a life that is not defined by their mental illness. Summer temp staff are able to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in human services and an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community while being ideal for students or individuals seeking summer employment! Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
- Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and play a lead role in the daily implementation plans.
- Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.
- Review and complete all required documentation.
