Join VF Corporation as a Summer Supply Chain Intern We are excited to offer a full-time Summer Supply Chain Internship (approximately 3 months) at our Jonestown Distribution Center. This hands-on opportunity is designed for students eager to gain practical experience in a dynamic, fast-paced supply chain environment. Interns will work closely with operations and continuous improvement teams to validate SOPs, support Base+ standard work, and contribute to meaningful projects that enhance workflow and efficiency. Depending on business need and candidate interest, this internship may extend beyond summer at a reduced schedule of 1–2 days per week for the remainder of the year.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field — or a recent graduate from one of these areas.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work full-time for the summer internship period (approx. 3 months).
  • Interest in continuing part-time (1–2 days/week) after summer, if mutually beneficial.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operations to validate existing SOPs and revise them as needed.
  • Support Base+ standard work validations to ensure accuracy and consistency across processes.
  • Focus on one smaller, targeted project within a specific area of the building.
  • Identify waste and process improvement opportunities across departments.
  • Conduct time studies to support standards validation (MOST or stopwatch methods).
  • Assist with system testing alongside the engineering/operations teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to effectively communicate process changes to associates.
