About The Position

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is a Fortune 500 company specializing in corrugated packaging and white paper products, with approximately 15,000 team members across more than 100 U.S. locations. Their mission is to provide products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility. The Minnesota, Dakota & Western Railway Company, a PCA subsidiary, is seeking temporary hourly laborers for the MD&W Railroad during the Summer Break period of 2026.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Must be graduating with a high school diploma/GED this spring or have a high school diploma/GED
• Proof of high school diploma/GED will be required at the time of hire
• Must pass a Federal DOT drug test as required by the Federal Railroad Administration
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to current MDW employees’ dependents
• Preference will be given to full-time college students (enrolled for 12 credits or more, Fall semester 2026)
