About The Position

Join us at White Bear Lake School District as a summer programming paraprofessional. We are looking for superheroes with experience working with students with special needs. This role will be paired with between 1 and 5 students with various behavioral and medical health needs. A successful candidate performs intermediate human support work by supporting students with special needs individually and in small or larger groups. Responsibilities also include encouraging and modeling appropriate student conduct, speech, and attire.

Requirements

  • AA/AS/BS Degree
  • Para Pro Certification
  • 1 year of experience working with special needs children.

Benefits

  • Flexible hours between 7:00 am - 5:30 pm. Summer programming runs from June 8th to August 14th, with training dates on May 14th, 21st, and 28th.
