About The Position

Catapult Learning is seeking a Summer School Site Supervisor in Brockton, MA to support the successful daily operation of a summer school program. This part-time leadership role is ideal for an organized, flexible, and proactive education professional who can provide strong on-site support to staff, students, and families throughout the program. This is a part-time summer position scheduled for Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, for a total of 24 hours per week. The program runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM over a 5-week summer session. The Site Supervisor will oversee daily program operations, support instructional staff and service providers, help ensure schedules run smoothly, and serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day issues that arise. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and management skills, along with the ability to step in and provide classroom coverage when needed.

Requirements

  • DESE SPED certification required
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable supporting staff, students, and families in a collaborative and professional manner
  • Flexible and dependable, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in school-based leadership, special education, summer programming, or site coordination preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight and support for teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers
  • Manage staff questions, concerns, and day-to-day operational issues as they arise
  • Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and students
  • Communicate with parents and caregivers as needed to support student attendance, engagement, and program operations
  • Provide substitute coverage for absent teachers when necessary
  • Partner with program leadership and participate in at least one weekly meeting with supervisor to review progress and discuss needs
  • Help maintain a positive, organized, and supportive learning environment for students and staff
  • Support implementation of program expectations, procedures, and daily logistics
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program success
