About The Position

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our direct care team this summer at Lindencroft Group Home, a treatment setting for adolescents specializing in trauma-informed care. This role offers work-life balance with multiple schedule options and weekend availability. No prior work experience or college degree is needed, as JRI will provide all necessary resources and training for you to excel. There is exciting growth potential, with an opportunity to become a permanent member of our team following the summer.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Be able to establish clear professional boundaries, work as a team member and consistently implement all policies and procedures, rules and regulations of JRI
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed

Responsibilities

  • Develop skills in providing enriching daily activities for students, such as arts and crafts and recreational activities including offsite field trips
  • Learn how to create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting clients in developing effective coping strategies
  • Learn to work as an integral part of an active and engaged team
