About The Position

This position supports the Summer Research Program for currently enrolled undergraduate students or recent graduates. This 12-week summer program will provide in-depth professional neuroscience research development for selected candidates. Candidates will participate in weekly educational workshops on various research topics, be matched to a physician mentor, and participate in an existing research project. At the end of the 12-week period, candidates are required to prepare an oral presentation about their experience to the Baptist Health South Florida community and its generous donors. This 12-week summer program provides a complete and immersive research experience for emerging neuroscience professionals.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 2 years of research experience is required.
• Medical terminology experience preferred.
• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments systematically.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work in a high-demand environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
