Summer Program Counselor - Partnership for Children
About The Position
The Summer Program Counselor is a temporary full time position that provides a variety of direct and non-direct care to children ages 4-12 years old, during the summer months of May - August. The summer program counselor participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic summer program, following the lead of the program coordinator. Are you looking for us? Requirements
- Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting
- Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff
- Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed
- Ability to climb stairs as needed
