About The Position

The Summer Production Team Member will assist with necessary tasks in support to the production process. This position is a temporary position at the Phillipsburg manufacturing plant.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates/technical degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift moving materials as assigned.
• Provide process improvement ideas and assist in their implementation.
• Troubleshoot problems to help minimize downtime.
• Operate the splicing unit as needed.
• Understand proper start up procedures to increase safety and reduce waste.
• Promote team concept with all personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, etc.
• Report all incidents/accidents, personnel, maintenance or material issues to your supervisor.
• Inspect material quality and keep supervisor informed of quality problems associated with the products.
• Other duties may be assigned.
