About The Position

The Procurement Intern will provide the opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into a sound understanding of procurement within a manufacturing environment. This internship will support the Procurement team through data-driven insights, market research and supplier performance analysis. This includes identifying cost savings, improving supplier partnerships and ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability and compliance goals

Requirements

High school diploma
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to complete a 3-month internship from May-August 2026
Cumulative GPA of a 2.6

Responsibilities

Complete a special project (50%~ of the workload) focused on procurement strategies and processes within a manufacturing environment, this includes but is not limited to:
Spend and data analysis
Collect, clean and analyze spend data to identify cost savings opportunities and efficiencies
Build dashboards and reports using Excel, PowerBI or other analytical tools
Supplier research and benchmarking
Conduct market intelligence, track commodity price movements and benchmark supplier costs
Suport supplier due diligence, capability assessments and sustainability initiatives
Sourcing process support
Assist in preparing RFIs, RFPs; analyze bids and summarize results for category managers
Support contract negotiations with financial and operation analysis
Supplier relationship management
Track KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, cost and sustainability metrics)
Help drive supplier performance improvement and compliance with company standards
Cross-functional collaboration
Partner with Procurement, Finance, Operations and Legal teams with support category strategies
Present an end-of-internship summary to the Ardagh Glass Packaging executive leadership team
