About The Position

The Pool Bartender plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional beverage service in a poolside environment. This position requires creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere while efficiently preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The Pool Bartender is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills to engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and deliver personalized service. Requirements

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in an outdoor poolside environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol).
• Experience working in a poolside or outdoor bar setting.
• Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws and regulations.
• Multilingual abilities to communicate with a diverse guest population.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when appropriate.
• Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal age requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service during peak hours.
