About The Position

This program offers clinical interns the opportunity to gain practical work experience in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care, while also providing exposure to innovative and emerging concepts in healthcare practice. Interns will be supported by mentorship from experienced staff dedicated to investing in students and new professionals. Application is open February 6th - April 3rd Application may close earlier if spots fill Space is limited. Students who will have completed one or more med/surg clinical rotation by May 2026 should apply. Position Specifics: PAID 4 week Internship: June 1st- June 27th Department: Various departments available based on hospital and area of interest Core Function: Nursing Support Schedule: Temporary Full Time, Day and Night shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital Location: O'Fallon, IL

Requirements

  • Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited ADN, BSN or MSN program, or graduated with ADN or BSN within the previous 1 year.
  • Student must have successfully completed at least one clinical rotation.
  • Successfully completed at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
