This internship will engage in experiential learning through participation in select research activities for Parkview Health. Responsibilities include completing research project tasks as assigned by a member of the Health Services and Informatics Research team. The intern will apply academic knowledge to practical settings, contribute to ongoing projects, and collaborate with team members to ensure the rigorous and ethical execution of research activities. Specific projects will be determined closer to the start of the internship in spring to align with the team's research priorities and ongoing initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow research protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Current undergraduate college student or graduate college student.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Interest in health services, informatics, or related research.
  • Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship.

  • Full-time internship (40 hours per week).
