About The Position

Gemini is looking for a Seasonal Maintenance Helper to join the team at our location in Cannon Falls, MN for our Summer season! This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops. A day as a Seasonal Team Member can include: Perform and assist in construction and remodeling projects. building shelving, storage bins, or similar fixtures. Repair and perform preventive maintenance duties on buildings as required and directed. Conduct periodic inspections of production equipment as required. Install or replace lighting fixtures, repairing electrical wiring when required. Maintains building and grounds in an appropriate condition, using personal judgment and discretion in so doing as required and directed. Install or assist in the installation of new equipment as required, making appropriate electrical, air and water connections and aligning equipment for production use. Follow standard safety procedures and use all approved safety devices and equipment. Check the condition of company vehicles and deliver to a commercial garage for required service work. Operate snow removal equipment as required; spreading sand in parking lot and on sidewalks as necessary. Maintain a positive working relationship with all department employees and superiors. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and develop related reports for all production equipment. Has developing skills to perform reasonable similar duties as assigned or required. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Should have previous experience in the various functions required to do this job.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Operate a variety of power saws and routers, cutting out letters from plastic sheets.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electrical assembly or troubleshooting preferred.
