About The Position

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications for various seasonal positions to support its 2026 Summer Lunch Program . The goal of the Program is to provide nutritious meals for children at no cost during the summer at parks and other neighborhood locations throughout Liberty County. The program will operate June 1 – July 31, Monday through Friday except for federal holidays. Employees will work under the supervision and guidance of the Program Coordinator. Mandatory training will be provided prior to the program start date. Excellent attendance and teamwork skills are a must. The following positions are available: Site Supervisor Kitchen Assistant Delivery Driver Program Volunteer Apply by April 17, 2026. Job responsibilities, work schedules, and minimum requirements for each position are provided below. All positions pay $10.00/hour with the exception of the Program Volunteer, which is an unpaid role. Delivery Drivers also receive a mileage reimbursement at the State rate of $0.725 per mile when transporting meals.
