About The Position
Join our team of lifeguards and swim instructors to maintain the health and safety of all participants, and provide high-quality programming, while building relationships with members and program participants. This position is available at our Dahl branch in La Crosse, WI. Details: Flexible hours – PART-TIME and FULL-TIME positions available for the summer! Work rain or shine in a controlled environment We will train qualified applicants Pool is open from 5am - 8:30pm Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Lifeguard Certification (for lifeguards only)
- CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification (lifeguards only)
- YMCA Water Instructor Certification preferred (Instructors only)
- Must enjoy working around children and adults of all ages
Nice To Haves
- YMCA Water Instructor Certification preferred (Instructors only)
Responsibilities
- Maintain the health and safety of all participants
- Enforce rules and expectations
- Constant vigilance of pool activities
- Conduct YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons
