Summer Legal Intern
About The Position
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for first-year law students to gain hands-on experience in both corporate and law firm settings through our Summer 2026 Legal Internship Program. This 10-week program includes six weeks at a leading Connecticut law firm and four weeks with RTX’s corporate legal team, giving you the chance to explore both in-house and private practice environments. As an intern, you’ll work on meaningful legal tasks such as research, analysis, writing, and supporting client matters, all while building valuable skills and connections to help launch your legal career.
Requirements
- Completion of at least one year of law school with a minimum 3.0 GPA (please include your academic transcript with your application).
- Demonstrated interest in and plans to work in Connecticut.
- Ability to work in Connecticut throughout the summer internship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic digital tools.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a legal setting.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
Responsibilities
- Work 40 hours per week and be available onsite for the full 10 weeks of the internship program.
