About The Position

Apogee Architectural Metals is hiring interns for Summer 2026 at their Wausau, WI locations. These positions run from May to August, requiring a 12-week minimum commitment, and offer hands-on project experience, professional development, and more. Co-op positions are also available. Potential opportunities are in departments such as Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Supply Chain, though the specific departments and number of positions are not yet finalized. Interns can expect a structured, project-based program focused on skill set growth, technology and systems knowledge, business acumen, and professional development. The program includes regular coaching and feedback sessions with mentors and supervisors, leadership opportunities through activities and presentations, and connections with the leadership team through various events. Interns will also gain exposure to other Apogee locations and business units and partner with other interns on projects, community events, and social activities. Apogee Architectural Metals (Metals) is a segment within Apogee, providing aluminum windows, curtainwall, storefront, and entrance systems. They offer integrated capabilities including design, engineering, extrusion, finishing, fabrication, and assembly, serving a wide range of construction projects across the U.S. and Canada with brands like Alumicor, EFCO, Linetec, and Tubelite.
