This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with an experienced mortgage professional, learn the loan origination process from start to finish, and play a key role in helping Spanish-speaking families navigate the home financing journey. As a Mortgage Summer Intern, you’ll assist with a variety of client-facing and operational responsibilities, including: Assisting Spanish-speaking clients by translating and completing the loan application (1003) from Spanish to English Collecting and reviewing initial documentation needed for loan approval Supporting the completion of income analysis worksheets for different loan programs Participating in initial client consultations to observe and learn the mortgage interview process Ensuring clients receive clear translated explanations of underwriting conditions and requirements Coordinating with our processing team to ensure documentation is complete and submitted to underwriting in a timely manner Meeting with Spanish-speaking clients to scan and organize documents into PDF format during the underwriting process Reaching out to past Spanish-speaking leads from the past three years who may now be ready to move forward with a mortgage Helping ensure new leads receive timely follow-up and excellent client service What You’ll Gain: This internship provides real-world exposure to the mortgage industry and client relationship management.
