We are currently accepting applicants for our eight-week 2026 Summer Internship, which runs from June through July. We are seeking summer interns for our Tax, Trade, & Finance practice. We offer our interns challenging and engaging opportunities to develop public affairs and political careers through direct working relationships with our government affairs professionals and exposure to a variety of projects, clients, and issues common to the federal government. The internship will be primarily in-person in our downtown D.C. offices, with opportunities to work remotely at the discretion of the firm. This is a paid internship. Interested applicants must be rising college seniors, recent college graduates, or current graduate students.

Responsibilities

  • Support staff on real-time event planning
  • Participate in and take notes at relevant policy briefings, hearings, and advocacy meetings.
  • Monitor legislative and policy developments and conduct in-depth research on specific policy issues.
  • Prepare memos, transcripts, bios, and fact sheets on assigned topics
  • Schedule congressional staff meetings and/or support client meeting prep
  • Perform other duties as required.
