The Internship Program provides an opportunity for high school and college students (16+) the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing municipal government that places high value on education and advancement. A successful internship will provide you with work experience in local government and may even give you an idea of a career path you did not know was an option to you.

NOTE: A position listed above may choose not to accept an intern during this internship cycle.

Requirements

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent problem solving & teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work and interact in a professional manner with the city council, staff, and members of the public.
• Must have strong analytical and computer skills, position dependent.
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention of detail.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship by any employer.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited high school, college, university, vocational, trade, or other type of school when the application is submitted.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your primary working location.
