ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We invite students to be part of the mission through our Summer Internship Program - an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience while contributing to projects that directly impact New England’s current and future power grid.

  • Contribute to real-world projects that shape the future of energy in our region

  • Current undergraduate or graduate students pursuing relevant majors

  • Curiosity and drive to contribute to a changing power industry
  • Must have completed at least the first year of college and be currently enrolled in a four year or graduate-level academic program
  • Must have the authority to work in the US on a permanent basis, without requiring sponsorship
  • 11 week paid internship (June through August)
