About The Position

The ICE Internship Program offers a dynamic opportunity to combine hands-on, impactful work on projects that shape our business, alongside practical career and professional development. Beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and deepen your understanding of the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. The Cybersecurity Automation Intern will assist with automation processes in the security departments.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university, be at least advancing to their junior year of study, and pursuing a degree in management information systems, computer information systems, computer engineering, or computer science
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages, and interest in tools like Django, REST APIs, or CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Ansible)
• Eagerness to learn and apply best practices in design, security, and code quality while working on real-world projects
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, tested, and secure code using diverse architectures, tools, and frameworks to automate internal processes
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide actionable insights into security risks and emerging threats
• Enhance and innovate open-source and custom visualization tools to identify trends, streamline event triage, map data flows, detect anomalies, and automate reporting and analysis
• Implement tools to baseline user and system activity, enabling detection and mitigation of suspicious behavior and insider threats across networks, databases, and data assets
• Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned
