Summer Internship - Hardware Engineering Intern
About The Position
At BAE Systems, we deliver a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services. If you are an individual who enjoys a cohesive team environment and is interested in a variety of challenges across a variety of products, then we are interested in hearing from you! This role will be supporting engineering development, failure analysis, integration and test efforts on complex electronic designs. The successful candidate must possess strong technical aptitude, communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally within the hardware organization and with other engineering disciplines/functions.
Requirements
- Pursuing or intent to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including (but not limited to): Systems Engineering Software – Computer Science Computer Engineering Hardware – Mechanical, Electrical Industrial Engineering Engineering Management Mathematics Physics Material Science/Engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and work cooperatively with peers to solve problems
- Motivated self-starter and collaborative problem solver
