Location: Lansdale, PA Duration: Summer 2026 (Temporary Approx. 10–12 weeks, fulltime, hourly) Department: Global Trade Compliance Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Summer Intern to support a focused project within our Global Trade Compliance function: Military Technology Review & Evaluation. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world compliance, regulatory research, and technology classification in a highly technical and globally connected business environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in international trade, compliance, law, engineering technology, research, or regulatory affairs to gain practical experience working alongside experienced professionals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business, Engineering, Political Science, Supply Chain, Compliance, Law, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with technical documentation.
  • Strong written and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive or regulated information responsibly.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in export controls, global trade, or regulatory environments.
  • Experience with technical, engineering, or compliance-related coursework.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or data systems.
  • Curious, methodical, and highly detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working independently on research while collaborating with experienced professionals.
  • Someone who enjoys solving complex classification or documentation puzzles.

Responsibilities

  • Review legacy documentation to determine appropriate military or dual-use technology classifications.
  • Conduct detailed research using internal systems, technical documentation, and regulatory resources.
  • Document findings clearly and accurately to support compliance and classification decisions.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance to review research, validate conclusions, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Update existing systems with classification data and coordinate updates where necessary.
  • Support organization and improvement of historical records and technical documentation.
