About The Position

An IT internship with The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is not like your average IT internship. We are currently seeking a summer intern for our Application Development department. As a Software Developer Intern, you will build and enhance advanced financial applications leveraging cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

• Applicants should be enrolled at an accredited four year institution
• Should have a GPA of at least 3.0 and be in good academic standing
• Desired fields of study include; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Management, Management Information Systems, or other technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Participate in full stack application design and development
• Develop software using technologies like Angular, .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, REST and SQL
• Work on an Agile Scrum team
• Exposure to DevOps processes and technology such as CI/CD and IaC
• Collaborate using GIT track source code changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain code quality through unit testing
