Qarbon Aerospace located in Milledgeville, GA is seeking an intern to work various tasks from continuous process improvement projects and other related tasks. Position involves exposure/assignment to various engineering activities including manufacturing support, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. The tasks will vary over time based on program requirements as well as candidates’ availability and skills. Training will be provided as required to meet job assignments Candidate will need good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Intern will be responsible for meeting assigned tasks within schedule and budget as defined by their managers.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR.
  • Successful candidate will be a current college student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 or more semester hours and be able to provide unofficial transcripts to support this requirement.
  • Candidates must have excellent verbal communication, organizational skills and be a self-starter.
  • Must be able to work onsite at our facility located in Milledgeville, GA.
  • Work schedule is flexible to ensure adequate time is available for school schedule and peak education demands.
  • Candidate will need good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering are preferred.
