About The Position

AHCA/NCAL is seeking a Summer Intern to help further the organization’s mission to improve lives by delivering solutions for quality care. This role will support the assisted living team and profession in various ways, including providing direct support to specific profession-wide programs as well as researching various aspects of the senior living sector.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Office experience strongly preferred.
• Outstanding computer skills.
• Research skills such as literature reviews and the ability to summarize information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with policy analysis a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and synthesize current and proposed assisted living legislation in various states.
• Assist with developing tools and frameworks that strengthen assisted living nursing practice.
• Draft documents and materials for review.
• Assist with various aspects of National Assisted Living Week (NALW).
• Research assisted living organizations and leadership teams across the country.
• Other duties as assigned.
