About The Position

ADL 's New England Regional team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from June 15 to August 7, 2026 . The ideal candidate will have experience with research, writing, community organizing, or education policy. Our New England Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with civil rights advocacy, anti-bias education programs, and non-profit development. Application portals will close at 3 PM ET on March 10, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-April.

Responsibilities

  • Policy & Legislative Research: Conduct research on local and state legislation across the New England region (MA, ME, NH, RI, VT) related to hate crimes, civil rights, and legislative policies.
  • Event & Development Operations: Support the planning and execution of regional events and donor engagement strategies that help fund ADL’s critical mission. Support in the development of marketing and social materials.
  • Community Engagement: Draft communications and support outreach efforts for regional programs, including in support of the incident response team.
  • Attend and participate in the ADL Summer Internship Learning Program sessions, where you will get to have discussions with accomplished leaders and subject matter experts at ADL.
