This role focuses on company wide TAKT time analysis as well as operational efficiency projects within our production area. Students will gain hands on experience in a real manufacturing environment while contributing to meaningful process improvements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Interest in lean manufacturing concepts.
- Comfortable working on the production floor and gathering hands on data.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Excel or other analysis tools is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Collect, measure, and analyze TAKT time data across multiple production areas.
- Identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support operational efficiency efforts focused on workflow, equipment use , and throughput.
- Develop visual tools, charts, and documentation to communicate findings.
- Partner with production teams, engineers, and supervisors to implement improvements.
- Present recommendations and progress updates to leadership.
