About The Position

The Summer Intern position at The Bowery Presents offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to gain operational knowledge across various departments within AEG Presents, including Sponsorship, Marketing, Ticketing, Venue Operations, and Booking. This part-time paid internship spans 8 weeks and involves hands-on experience in the live entertainment industry, allowing interns to participate in real-world projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a Rising Junior or Rising Senior (of Fall 2025).
• 0-1 years of related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships.
• Team player with enthusiasm and commitment to the work.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in the music industry and music business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in event planning or marketing initiatives.
• Familiarity with the live entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Rotate among several departments including Office Administration, Global Partnerships, Marketing, Ticketing, Venue Operations, Booking, Sponsorship, and Production.
• Shadow and assist various departments and perform tasks assigned by department liaisons.
• Complete assigned tasks such as creating socials and ad packs, show advancement, and assisting with load-in and sound check.
• Attend shows, load-ins, shadow in the box office, and/or attend soundchecks as part of the internship activities.
• Prepare an end-of-semester presentation on a relevant topic for Department Liaisons and/or Human Resources Representative.
• Set realistic goals and work closely with department supervisors to achieve them.
