As the charitable arm of USTA Southern, the Southern Tennis Foundation (STF) is a catalyst for change. Our mission is to use tennis as a vehicle to provide invaluable financial support to deserving individuals and organizations across the South.

Job Summary:
The STF Intern will support the Foundation’s mission, manager and team by conducting research, facilitating communication, coordinating grant processes, and collaborating with USTA Southern departments. STF supports over 60 sports-based youth development organizations in the Southern section. You will contribute to initiatives that engage young people in their academic achievement, character development, and athletic growth in addition to exposure to adaptive and wheelchair tennis communities. This position could potentially involve travelling to scheduled events as well.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a junior/senior in an undergraduate program or a recent graduate (All major areas of study welcome)
• Strong interest in tennis, community development, youth education, and nonprofit work
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and social media platforms
• Available Monday-Friday; 30 hours per week at the USTA Southern office (Peachtree Corners, Ga.)

Responsibilities

• Program Support: Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of STF initiatives.
• Research: Conduct research on trends, best practices, and community engagement
• Communication & Outreach: Help manage, update, and create materials for grants, scholarships, and other outreach efforts.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9am – 4pm (hybrid work environment with at least 3 days in the office)
