Our Silicon Validation and Characterization Engineering team is looking for an intern to support the development and production of cutting-edge mixed-signal and analog semiconductor integrated circuits. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, contribute to real-world projects, and gain exposure to the full product lifecycle—from design to production ramp. As an intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to solve real-world challenges, contribute to product development, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This internship will take place during the Summer 2026 semester over the course of a 12-14 week long internship working a full-time schedule.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with mixed-signal product engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, waveform generators, power supplies)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to iterate and improve designs
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in scripting languages, Python preferred
  • Knowledge in data analysis using tools such as (Spotfire, JMP, PDF, Excel)
  • Knowledge of IC or board-level test and failure analysis

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with the development and production of mixed-signal and analog semiconductor integrated circuits
  • Develop electrical bench and ATE Python test scripts
  • Gather and summarize data
  • Design and build test hardware
  • Interface with cross-function groups to manage NPI production ramp deliverables and timelines
