About The Position

The Summer Intern in Scientific Communications at Insmed Incorporated offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Requirements

• Currently in full-time pursuit of a Bachelor's, Master's, or advanced level degree (PhD, PharmD or MD) in life sciences or healthcare.
• High level understanding of the role of Medical Affairs in a pharmaceutical company.
• Ability to assess scientific/clinical/real world evidence data to drive medical strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and effectively communicate complex scientific and clinical data.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within collaborative and cross-functional teams.

• Interest in pursuing a career in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of medical strategy and aligned deliverables used in scientific exchange and medical education.
• Participate in launch planning activities within Medical Affairs.
• Engage in special projects in Scientific Communications including development of materials for Field Medical, planning for training activities, and managing sponsored online educational platforms.
• Interact with Insmed stakeholders across departments and geographies.
