This internship will run from June 16th through August 15th and be 30-40 hours per week in our greater Minneapolis area. We can't wait to talk to you about this incredible opportunity! Transforming Age and our Minnesota Communities are excited to offer our ROAD (Rotational Operations and Development) Summer Internship in the greater Minneapolis, St Paul area!! This is a paid opportunity where you will learn about many career paths Senior Living offers, including Culinary/Dining Services, Lifestyles and Activities, Sales & Marketing, and Operations! This is a fantastic way to explore careers in Senior Living, and discover meaningful paths.

  • Rotate through several teams and be responsible for various activities and assignments, such as Lifestyle/Activities, Dining Services, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Develop relationships with mentors, team members and residents/clients.
  • Learn about programs, processes, policies, products and applications to serve our residents/clients and our business.
  • Complete and present a ROAD Internship project to Senior Leadership Team.
  • Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility, and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Current pursuit of undergraduate education preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Organized, self-motivated, professional demeanor.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented.
  • Able to prioritize and balance concurrent/competing projects, tasks or assignments.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, dedicated to customer service and care for clients & residents.
  • Open to learning and receiving feedback.
