About The Position

DLA Piper's Raja Gaddipati Fellowship is a six-week, full-time paid summer internship designed for undergraduate students and recent graduates. This program provides participants with insights into the workings of a large law firm through research projects, lectures, and direct mentoring. The fellowship aims to foster diversity within the legal profession and is named after a former partner who championed community involvement and support for law students. The internship will take place in various DLA Piper offices, including Chicago, New York, Palo Alto, and Washington, DC, from mid-June to late July.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college degree program entering their senior year in fall 2025 or be a recent graduate applying to law school within one year.
• Genuine interest in attending law school and plans to take the LSAT.
• Intend to apply to an accredited law school in 2025 or 2026.
• Demonstrate sound academic performance.
• Express interest and commitment to advancing an inclusive culture.
• Display involvement in campus and local community activities.
• Present exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist on legal assignments and research projects.
