The Summer Intern - Operations position at GXO Logistics offers an exciting opportunity for collegiate students to gain hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain management. Interns will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, learning about various operational facets while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This 10-week program is designed to equip interns with essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in operations management.

Learn the basic job functions and perform responsibilities relative to warehouse operations and meet weekly goals and objectives.
Engage with various levels of operations leadership to strategically assist in continuous improvement by identifying problems and creating lean solutions.
Engage with peers to work together and achieve a defined and common business purpose.
Exchange ideas, thoughts, opinions, knowledge, and data with others to ensure clarity and purpose in communication.
Participate and/or lead projects with key partners and peer interns by creating and developing project plans, determining requirements, deliverables, resources, timing/milestones, and risks.

Current collegiate Junior or Senior in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field with anticipated graduation by June 2026.
In academic good standing with a grade point average of at least 3.0.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present information and data in an organized and audience-appropriate manner.
High degree of integrity to maintain confidentiality.

Leadership and/or people management experience in collegiate programs and activities, or in previous/current employment.
Strong interest in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
Bilingual English/Spanish.
Ability to take initiative to confront challenges, inspire others, and collaborate in a team environment.
Interest in Operations Management as a career path post-graduation.

Hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
