About The Position
AWC Indeed is seeking a motivated and reliable Summer Intern to support both office administration and marketing activities at our Conroe, Texas location. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands on experience in a professional office environment while contributing to marketing and brand support efforts. The position provides exposure to daily business operations, project based work, and cross functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a professional office setting
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including filing, document preparation, data entry, and organization of physical and digital records
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and calendar management as directed by leadership
- Support preparation and formatting of reports, presentations, and internal communications using Microsoft Office Suite
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Research industry trends, competitor activity, and content topics to support marketing strategy
- Help develop marketing materials such as flyers, product one pagers, email campaigns, and event announcements using tools such as Canva or Microsoft Publisher
- Support documentation and photography of facility operations, product milestones, and company events
- Track engagement metrics and compile basic performance reports for social media and email campaigns
- Support brand consistency by following established AWC Indeed brand standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
