About The Position

The Summer Intern will provide support to designated department staff through research, data collection, analysis, and administrative assistance. This is a non-clinical role designed to offer exposure to nonprofit operations and program development. The intern will also have structured shadowing opportunities to gain insight into organizational functions and service delivery models.This position is temporary and intended for undergraduate students seeking practical experience in a nonprofit setting.
The salary range for this position is $18.00-$20.00/hr.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student (Freshman through Senior year)
• Strong interest in nonprofit work, research, public health, social services, or related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Responsibilities

• Assist with research projects related to program initiatives and organizational priorities
• Conduct data collection, entry, and basic analysis
• Support preparation of reports, summaries, and presentations
• Perform administrative tasks including document organization, file management, and database updates
• Attend meetings and take notes as requested
• Participate in scheduled shadowing opportunities with department staff
• Support special projects as assigned
