This is an open posting for Mine Reclamation Specialist Summer Internship Student positions at our White Springs, FL phosphate facility. This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Environmental and Conservation Science, Mine Engineering, Geology, or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2027 or later.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to work at heights, outdoors, and around potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Must be comfortable and physically capable of entering and working in a confined space.
• Must be able to hear and understand audible alarms, changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site with various duties, including mine land reclamation designs.
• Perform volume calculations for reclamation designs.
• Layout drone flights for the reclamation.
• Assist with permit applications.
• Assist with water management.

Benefits

• Housing is provided for students whose summer residence is more than 75 miles from the site.
• Relocation is not provided for this internship.
