This is an open posting for Mine Engineering Students interested in a Summer Internship at our White Springs, Florida facility. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work. Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Outside the office, standard work wear will consist of hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses and ear plugs, with other items as needed; these items will be provided.

  • Assist the site with various duties, including surveying underground and surface.
  • Ventilation airflow measurements and troubleshooting.
  • Rock Mechanics instrumentation installation.
  • Record management.
  • Analyze mine layout and schedule production.
  • Currently enrolled and in a Mine Engineering, Geology, or equivalent related program with a graduation date of May 2027 or later.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to work at heights, outdoors, and around potentially hazardous chemicals.
  • Must be comfortable and physically capable of entering and working in a confined space.
  • Must be able to hear and understand audible alarms, changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
