As a Summer Intern – Medical Affairs, you’ll work within experienced Medical Affairs team in a global environment supporting scientific and medical activities for the company's health technology products (pharmaceutical diagnostics). You will partner with the Medical Directors, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Medical Advisors, and other personnel to help serve as experts and points of contact for cross-functional stakeholders in the Americas region and ensure execution of strategy development and tactical plans. You will help explore and develop new opportunities for collaboration and managing existing partnerships. You will work closely with your Medical Affairs colleagues, cross-functional colleagues, and external key opinion leaders (KOLs) to gain an understanding of the scientific landscape, glean clinical insights, and communicate information to key stakeholders. This internship is remote, and interns will collaborate virtually with their manager and team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or a related field
  • Available for a minimum of 10 weeks during Summer 2026
  • Strong organization skills with attention to details
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, word/excel, PowerPoint, outlook
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong academic performance demonstrated by a GPA of 3.5 or higher, though all applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Interest or prior exposure to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, and/or medical affairs
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, solution and action oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting projects and demand

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of internal summary reports and Medical Affairs activities.
  • Assist in organizing systems to capture and share customer insights.
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal cross-functional projects.
  • Work with Cardiology Medical Affairs team, other departments, and functions within our global company.
