Summer Intern – Mechanical Engineer Indianapolis, Indiana Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. As an Allegion Mechanical Engineer intern, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Mechanical Engineering Competency. You will gain valuable experience in product design, testing and design process for development of commercial products. You will be part of an engaged engineering team that supports manufacturing, an on-site test lab and regularly interfaces with cross functional departments. What You Will Do: Deepen your understanding of engineering change process and new product development. Participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real projects. Work with a team to produce well-rounded solutions. Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion. What You Need to Succeed: Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering. Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
