About The Position

As an Allegion mechanical engineer intern, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Mechanical Engineering Competency. You will gain valuable experience in product design, testing and design process for development of commercial products. You will be part of an engaged engineering team that supports manufacturing, an on-site test lab and regularly interfaces with cross functional departments.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Mechanical Engineering.
  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.
  • An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices.
  • Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques.
  • A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in development discussions and implement solutions on real projects.
