The John F. Kennedy (JFK) Redevelopment Program is delivering a world-class airport designed to meet the region’s future demand, with JFK projected to serve up to 100 million passengers annually by 2050. This $19 billion program encompasses the planning, design, financing, and construction of modernized terminals, airside and landside infrastructure, utilities, roadways, bridges, parking, the AirTrain system, cargo facilities, and airport fueling systems. Engineering Aid interns will support this complex, multi-stakeholder program by gaining exposure to airport infrastructure development, data analysis, and coordination across technical and community-focused teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how large-scale transportation infrastructure projects are planned and delivered through both traditional and innovative procurement methods.
