About The Position

Support the VAVE Engineering team through flexible, hands-on engagement in a wide variety of assignments.
Support idea generation
Participation in internal and external VA/VE workshops
Establishes technical feasibility of ideas through test, validation, and part tear downs.
Participate in team discussions and design reviews, offering insights based on your coursework, experience, and unique perspective.
Contribute to multiple concurrent projects while learning engineering tools, development processes, and VAVE methodologies.
Prepare clear and compelling presentations and summaries for cross‑functional teams and VAVE Management.
Lead focused VAVE mini‑projects aimed at discovering innovative solutions aligned with engineering best practices and cost‑optimization principles.

Requirements

• Strong willingness to learn about the automotive safety industry is desired
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
• Self‑motivated, inquisitive, and engaged in all assigned tasks.
• Works as an integral member of a cross functional team
• Valid driver’s license.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field preferred) materials management, or similar technical discipline
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
