Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Senior in college
  • Minimum 2 years of education in an accredited Mechanical Engineering pr
  • At Least 18 years old
  • All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety trainings, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries.
  • Employees must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
  • UAC has a responsibility to comply with all applicable requirements set forth by International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR). This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise and promote safety.
  • Proper usage of all PPE when working in the manufacturing areas of the plant
  • Promote and comply with all company safety, health and environmental policies, rules and regulations

  • Ability to work with Microsoft office products on computers, especially Excel spreadsheets
  • Good reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Implements assigned projects and planned maintenance activities with assistance from the manager and/or process engineer
  • Provide engineering support for various process improvement initiatives
  • Provide engineering support as needed to the EHS group
  • Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential responsibilities described above
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
