Through unbiased, data-based research on the relationship between a nation’s prosperity and its economic, political, and legal freedoms, the Freedom and Prosperity Center (FPC) works to increase the well-being of people everywhere, especially the poor and marginalized in developing countries. The Center produces cutting-edge research on what conditions create the best socio-economic outcomes and human well-being. It also works to support sound policy choices by reaching governments, decision makers, civil societies, NGOs, thought leaders and other changemakers. Our interns are an integral part of the FPC team, and projects are all-hands-on-deck. This position will execute administrative, logistical, and research tasks to support FPC’s reports and publications; event planning and execution; website; and correspondence and scheduling. This is a unique opportunity to support high-level international development conversations and learn from leading economists and experts on issues at the intersection of multilateral organizations, global economy, poverty alleviation, innovation, and growth. Based in Washington DC, the intern will help to implement the FPC’s strategy and advance community outreach. This internship is based full-time in our Washington, DC headquarters, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in the office. The summer intern will be compensated at a rate of $18.50 per hour.
